Tampa-based mobile commerce technology company Mad Mobile named former Oracle sales executive Doug Iverson chief revenue officer.

Iverson has more than 20 years of sales and consulting experience, according to a release. He was most recently vice president of North America Sales for Oracle-Retail, where he worked with the world's top retail brands, the release adds. Prior to Oracle, Iverson held senior sales positions at ProfitLogic and JDA/i2 Technologies.

Iverson will oversee sales and customers, in addition to go-to-market strategy at Mad Mobile. The firm's software and products work in smartphones, tablets, apps and in-store experiences. Clients include Sysco, Toshiba, Major League baseball and Mattel.

“As we enter this next phase of growth for Mad Mobile, Doug is a critical addition to the Mad Mobile leadership team,” Mad Mobile CEO Bruce Bennett says in the release. “He brings tremendous retail and technology experience, perfect for scaling a global sales organization. His passion, experience, and vision will help us expand and gain more traction among the world's largest retailers.”
