Hotel developer reworks management team

TAMPA — McKibbon Hospitality, a Tampa-based hotel developer, owner and manager, has made several changes to its corporate management team.

Overall, seven people were either added or promoted to the team, a statement says. “The biggest investment we can make here at McKibbon Hospitality is in our own people,” says Randy Hassen, the firm's president, in the statement.

Here are the new additions and promotions to McKibbon's corporate management team:
• Todd Kinney, regional vice president of operations. Kinney has worked with McKibbon since he was the general manager of Courtyard Knoxville in 1997.
• Kane Flanary, vice president of renovations. Flanary has been with the firm since 2009.
• Lisa Caskey, renovations manager. Caskey brings more than 12 years of hospitality experience, including project management, sales and design.
• Jim Coyle, general counsel. Coyle will provide legal oversight and support for the organization.
• Aaron Calabrese, regional revenue manager. Calabrese will oversee revenue management strategies and identify new opportunities.
• Wes Townson, vice president of business development. Townson has been with McKibbon since 2003, when he joined as director of acquisitions.
• Karl Oates, vice president of lifestyle hotels. Oates has been with the company since 2001 and will work with the development and design teams.

McKibbon Hospitality is headquartered in Tampa and Gainesville, Ga. The company has built and managed properties for brands including Marriot, Hilton and Starwood, among others.
