Global firm, with prominent lobbying arm, promotes pair

TAMPA — The Tampa office for communications firm Hill+Knowlton Strategies named Ron Bartlett deputy general manager of Florida operations and Alia Faraj-Johnson its new head of the Florida public affairs unit.

Bartlett has been with Hill+Knowlton for more than 15 years. He most recently served as head of the firm's Florida public affairs practice, according to a release. Faraj-Johnson has been with the firm for 18 months, most recently as senior vice president in the Tallahassee public affairs office. She also works with Hill+Knowlton's national and global public affairs division.

New York-based Hill+Knowlton has 88 offices in 51 countries.
