SARASOTA — Tivoli Homes, a locally-based custom homebuilder, has opened an exclusive waterfront peninsula community in Nokomis, in south Sarasota County.

The private peninsula, at 900 E. Colonia Lane, will feature 12 homes that come with private dock options and direct boating access to the Gulf of Mexico, according to a release. Pricing for the homes starts at $459,900. The project, the release adds, is named the Cottages of Curry Creek.

Each home comes with wind-resistant metal roofs and options for outdoor amenities such as kitchens and swimming pools. Homes are designed to give residents a comfortable and private place to live.

“We call our homes 'cottages' because they have so many features that will connect homeowners to the easy-going lifestyle of coastal living,” says Tivoli president Gary Johnson in the statement.

Tivoli Homes, based in Sarasota, is part of the Rivolta Group, which has been developing, designing and building residences in southwest Florida since 1979.
