Tampa attorney becomes NFL agent

TAMPA — Troy Carnrite, an associate for Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP, has earned his certification as an agent for the National Football League Players Association.

With Bradley Arant, Carnrite represents athletes and entertainers in multiples ways, including with contract and endorsement deals, according to a release. This certification will allow him to negotiate directly with NFL teams regarding player compensation.

The process to become an NFLPA certified agent is rigorous, including a detailed application submission and background check, seminar attendance and a written examination, the statement adds.
