Lorna Taylor was just honored as a finalist for the Business Observer's Entrepreneur of the Year, and she's now proving even more how she earned that recognition.

Premier Eye Care, the routine vision and medical eye care insurance management company Taylor leads, is about to move its operations center from an 8,000-square-foot location in Delray Beach to a 20,000-square-foot office in Boca Raton. Premier will have more than 100 people working out of that location when it opens its doors Sept. 1.

The operations center is quite different from Premier's Tampa headquarters on West Bay Street. There the company is run out of a 4,000-square-foot colonial building in a Hyde Park neighborhood that looks more residential than corporate.

Premier Eye Care has exploded since 2012, doubling revenues and expanding into 15 states, primarily by capitalizing on the large influx of new policyholders through the Affordable Care Act. It now manages the vision care of 3 million people.
