TAMPA — Edward “Ted” Rosinus has joined the board of directors for HomeBancorp Inc.
Rosinus is a vice president at Tricadia Capital Management LLC in New York City, and brings several years of experience in private equity investing, investment banking and equity research, according to a release.
HomeBancorp is the holding company for Tampa-based HomeBanc, established in 2007 with total assets of more than $900 million. It has 14 locations, primarily in Tampa, St. Petersburg, Lakewood Ranch, Belleair Bluffs, Pinellas Park, Seminole and Largo.
Just two years ago, HomeBanc had 15 locations, when it announced it raised $20 million for expansion efforts from undisclosed institutional investors. At the time, the bank said it was in active discussions about acquiring more branches.
Before Tricadia, Rosinus was a vice president for the private equity fund at PT Asset Management LLC, and worked as an analyst at Keefe Bruyette & Woods, spending time within equity research and investment banking. He also served as the regional adviser for the Center for International Private Enterprise in Iraq, working to improve infrastructure in that country.
