SARASOTA — A2Z Hospitality Management Co., a Sarasota-based hotel and restaurant management firm, signed a multi-year agreement with Signature Worldwide for training assistance.

Terms of the deal weren't disclosed.

A2Z operates six hotels in Sarasota and Charlotte counties, and recently acquired the management agreement to a new resort being built in the Catskill Mountains in New York, according to a release. Its portfolio includes the Ramada Inn in Venice; the Captiva Beach Resort on Siesta Key; the Four Points by Sheraton Harborside in Punta Gorda; and the Microtel Inn & Suites in Port Charlotte.

Managers from all A2Z properties will meet with and receive initial training from Signature's staff, according to the release. On-site training sessions will include reservation sales and the front desk. “We are excited to partner with Signature Worldwide to provide world class hospitality training to our management team and front-line customer service associates,” A2Z CEO John Zaccari says in the release.

Ohio-based Signature Worldwide, founded in 1986, focuses on helping hotels improve customer service and raise occupancy levels. The firm also coordinates secret shopping programs.
