BUYER: Chad Dubbs, Belvidere, Ill.
SELLER: Daniel Strauss
PROPERTY: 10060 University Drive, Fort Myers
PRICE: $1.2 million
PREVIOUS PRICE: $725,000, August 2013
LAW FIRM ON DEED: Borgia Law, Fort Myers

PLANS, DESCRIPTION:
Entrepreneur Chad Dubbs purchased a 0.99-acre outparcel to Gulf Coast Town Center for $1.2 million.

Dubbs acquired the property to develop his second Ultimate Express Car Wash in Southwest Florida. He purchased 1.15 acres of vacant land at 5302 Useppa Way, Naples for $1.95 million earlier this year for the first car wash in the region. Construction on the Naples location just started for an opening in the fall.

Work on the Fort Myers site is expected to start next year. The new car wash will have 4,500 square feet of space.

Dubbs says he chose the Fort Myers site because of growth in that area and its proximity to Florida SouthWestern State College.

Craig Timmins of Investment Properties Corp. represented the buyer, and Tom Strauss and Matt Yaniglos of LandQwest Commercial represented the seller.
