PLANS, DESCRIPTION:
Paradise Valley, Ariz., mobile home community owner and operator Patrick O'Malley purchased the 15.37-acre Tarponaire Mobile Home Park for $6.3 million.

The price equated to $409,889 per acre.

Dan Mulkey of Marcus & Millichap's Tampa office handled the transaction.

The park is age restricted and located on Lake Tarpon and U.S. 19. It has more than 135 home sites, some of which are vacant. The community consists of both single- and doublewide homes, and has a clubhouse, shuffleboard courts and boat docks.

Mulkey says the lake frontage offered the buyer the opportunity to upgrade many of the homes on site.
