NAPLES — DreamWare, a web software application company, has been awarded a $483,000 grant for training up to 200 employees it expects to hire in the next two years.
CareerSource Florida, in cooperation with Florida SouthWestern State College, awarded the Quick Response Training grant. The new jobs, according to a release, are needed because the company continues the national expansion of its signature software platform, Car Lister.
Launched in October 2014, Car Lister allows users to quickly list vehicles for sale by providing the VIN number and answering a series of questions. The application generates titles and vehicle descriptions, allows for the upload of images and video and includes a full vehicle history report at no cost.
The grant comes on the heels of Car Lister's $6.5 million round of angel funding to expand to more than 200 auto dealers across 31 states.
Florida SouthWestern State College is the state fiscal agent for QRT grants in Southwest Florida.
