Kevin Hipes joined CBRE's retail brokerage group in Tampa. Prior to joining CBRE, Hipes was a senior vice president of Tailwinds Development in Orlando. Earlier in his career, he was director of leasing for The Shopping Center Group, where he handled more than 40 leases totaling 500,000 square feet of retail space. Before that, he was director of leasing for Kimco Realty, where he oversaw the leasing and redevelopment of its 13 million-square-foot Florida portfolio.

Fort Myers-based Stevens Construction has promoted Terri Sobeck to controller. In the new position, Sobeck is now responsible for the planning and management of the accounting/financial services for the company's three offices. She has been director of administration for Stevens Construction since 2004.

Bill Reeves
Colliers International Tampa Bay
Bill Reeves joined Colliers International Tampa Bay as managing director of office services, based in the firm's Tampa office. Reeves joins Colliers after 15 years at Cushman & Wakefield, where he was a top producer. Reeves won a Florida Gulfcoast Commercial Association of Realtors' Pinnacle Award for a “Deal of the Year” for Draper Labs' purchase of a St. Petersburg building.

Cushman & Wakefield promoted Cynthia Townsend to project manager in the firm's Tampa office. Townsend joined the Florida Investor Services Project Management Group in Orlando in 2012 as a project coordinator. She transferred to Cushman & Wakefield's Tampa office in 2014.
