NAPLES — ACI Worldwide, which provides electronic-payments systems to 5,600 financial institutions, named Charles Peters Jr., Adalio Sanchez and Thomas Warsop III to its board of directors.
Peters currently serves as executive vice president and CFO at software provider Red Hat. Sanchez most recently served as senior vice president at computer giant Lenovo Group. Warsop currently serves as president and CEO at The Warranty Group, a provider of insurance and insurance services.
“Charlie, Adalio and Tom are tremendous additions to the ACI board, bringing extensive track records of leadership success,” says Philip Heasley, president and CEO of ACI Worldwide, in a statement.
The newly named directors replace three retiring board members. “While we appreciate the work of their predecessors — Harlan Seymour, John Curtis and John Stokely — each of whom made valuable contributions to our board, Charlie, Tom and Adalio possess decades of industry experience that will help us to further strengthen our market-leading Universal Payments family of solutions now and well into the future.”
Headquartered in Naples since 2012, ACI Worldwide provides the technology for electronic payments and banking for more than 5,600 financial institutions, retailers, billers and processors worldwide. ACI software processes $13 trillion each day in payments and securities transactions for more than 300 global retailers and 18 of the world's largest banks, the company says.
