TAMPA — Vology, an IT and technology refurbishing firm, has acquired VITAL Network Services, a Tampa-based provider of network support services.

Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. VITAL Network Services has become a wholly owned subsidiary of Oldsmar-based Vology, according to a statement.

Vology had $186 million in revenues in 2014. The newly combined company expects to generate more than $215 million in revenues and employ more than 400 people nationwide, the release states. The company expects to hire more than 85 additional employees, including half in engineering roles, in the future.

“This investment immediately and substantially advances Vology's market position as an outsourced provider of IT infrastructure management services,” Barry Shevlin, Vology's CEO and founder, says in the release.
