Goodwill Manasota President and CEO Bob Rosinsky has been elected to the board of directors of Goodwill Industries International.

Rosinsky, also named president of the Florida Goodwill Association earlier this year, will serve a three-year term on the global board, according to a release. Rosinsky has been with Goodwill for more than 40 years and was named to his current leadership position at the prominent area nonprofit in January 2013.

“I am happy to be a part of the Goodwill Industries International board, where we can work together to ensure that our organization is reaching new milestones and helping more people,” Rosinsky says in the statement.

Rosinsky began his Goodwill career in Milwaukee, the release states. He has run Goodwill organizations in Ohio and Florida, and has helped train Goodwill executives worldwide. He joined Goodwill Manasota in 1996, after serving as a consultant for the organization for five years.

Goodwill Manasota served more than 16,000 people, placed 680 people in jobs and assisted 520 veterans moving back into the civilian workforce in 2014 .
