NAPLES — Naples Transportation & Tours launched a fleet-maintenance division for its own growing operations and for other companies with commercial vehicles.

The Naples-based operator currently runs a fleet of 54 vehicles ranging from stretch limousines to vans, minibuses and trolleys. The company also operates Naples Trolley Tours, Everglades Excursions and Segway Tours of Naples.

“The steady growth of our company has required us to identify larger facilities for the servicing of our vehicles,” says Randy Smith, the CEO of Naples Transportation, in a statement. “As we researched this venture, we found a lot of other businesses like landscape contractors, air-conditioning firms and pest-control firms who had the same needs for vehicle servicing.”

The fleet maintenance division is located in 5,500 square feet of industrial space on two acres at 2315 J&C Blvd. Naples Transportation has hired three certified mechanics and plans to expand further as the business grows. The facility will be open seven days a week.
