Brandon Crossings, the 300,000-square-foot shopping center on Adamo Drive east of Tampa, has jumped to full occupancy by welcoming Sky Zone Indoor Trampoline to the Tampa Bay area.

Known for its wall-to-wall trampolines for anyone looking to take that leap, Sky Zone takes over just shy of 25,000 square feet at Brandon Crossings, where it will drop more than 10,000 foam cubes into a pit to help add that extra bounce to customers' steps.

The Tampa Sky Zone, a franchised unit run by former telecom executive Jay Highley, is the sixth Florida location for the Los Angeles-based company. Highley also owns Sky Zone locations in Fort Myers and Kansas City.

Sky Zone isn't stopping there. It has plans to open other locations in North Tampa, as well as Jacksonville, Orlando and Tallahassee — part of a 50-store expansion this year expected to bring total locations to 150.

Brandon Crossings was built in 1987, and is in a key location on Adamo, right off the Interstate 75 interchange. Boca Raton attorney William Weisman bought the center in 2005 for $16.5 million.
