SARASOTA — Kerkering, Barberio & Co., one of the largest independent CPA firms on the Gulf Coast, made a nationwide list of the industry's top 200 firms by revenues for the second consecutive year.
The list that includes Kerkering, Barberio, according to a release, is the IPA 200, published by industry newsletter INSIDE Public Accounting. Sarasota-based Kerkering, Barberio had $17.9 million in 2013 revenues.
“We can all be proud of Kerkering, Barberio's position within our industry,” Managing Shareholder Rob Lane says in a release. “We appreciate the recognition from IPA and value the contributions of each member of KB for creating a successful organization that benefits our clients, our community and our respective families.”
More than 540 firms nationwide participated in INSIDE Public Accounting's 2014 annual survey and analysis, which represents an aggregate of more than $60 billion in net fees/revenues and 250,000 employees. The rankings, according to Kerkering, Barberio, is one of the most comprehensive in the accounting field.
Kerkering, Barberio was founded in 1972. It has offices in downtown Sarasota, Lakewood Ranch and Tampa and offers a wide range of services to businesses, organizations, and individuals.
