Chico's expands international commerce

FORT MYERS — Chico's clothing brands will reach over 2 billion customers after partnering with online platform Borderfree.

Chico's FAS formed a partnership with New York City based Borderfree to allow customers in more than 100 countries to pay for merchandise using more than 60 different currencies. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

“From logistics to fraud management to market insights, we look forward to leveraging the Borderfree platform to the fullest extent to grow our international presence while maintaining the core values of our brands,” says Miki Berardelli, president, digital commerce and chief marketing officer for Chico's FAS.

Chico's FAS owns and operates 1,525 stores in the U.S. and Canada under the brands Chico's, White House | Black Market, Soma and Boston Proper.
