NAPLES — ITZ Studios acquired a 30,000-square-foot film and television studio in New Jersey that was most recently the headquarters of Univision.

“We're excited about the opportunity to expand ITZ's client base outside of our headquarters in Naples,” says Chuck Ardezzone, founder of ITZ. “Located at 24 Meadowlands Parkway, the new facility is within a 10-minute drive to midtown Manhattan and is ideally situated for increasing number of projects originating in New Jersey and New York.”

The former headquarters of Univision, the studio was most recently used for creating the reality television series Cake Boss. The three-story building houses a major green screen, offices, a boardroom and a 5,000-square-foot banquet room.

According to Ardezzone, the expansion allows ITZ to continue producing infomercials, scripted and reality television shows, commercials and feature films. ITZ co-founder Frank Monti will oversee the new production facility and is responsible for booking new clients.
