PLANS, DESCRIPTION:
A purchase entity led by eye doctors: Herbert Knauf III, Clinton Sheets and Andrea Lusk of Eye Site of Tampa Bay purchased the 25,464-square-foot former Tampa Tribune Building for $2.6 million.

The price equated to $89 per square foot. That figure is lower than the two-year average price per square foot for office space ($118) in the Tampa Bay area, according to the CoStar Group.

The ophthalmology practice Eye Site of Tampa previously leased space in the building.

The purchase entity, KSL 2560 LLC, mortgaged the property to USAmeriBank for $2.32 million.
