Terry Taylor's West Palm Beach-based Automotive Management Services Inc. purchased a 12,000-square-foot auto dealership for $2.3 million.
The price equated to $192 per square foot. That figure is higher than the two-year average price per square foot for retail space ($144) in Southwest Florida, according to the CoStar Group.
The 2.16-acre property has served as the high-end pre-owned vehicle dealership Ambassador Luxury & Exotic Cars since 2012. The building features 4,000 square feet of office space, 4,000 square feet of showroom space and 4,000 square feet of service space.
The C-5 zoning allows the dealership to sell both new and used automobiles.
The site will likely be used by Naples Luxury Imports, a dealership that sells Bentley, Maserati, Rolls-Royce, Land Rover, Jaguar and Aston Martin vehicles.
Richard Curry, a Realtor with Jones & Co. Realty, represented the seller.
“The seller came in and completely redid the first floor,” Curry says. “They also put in a turn lane off of Davis Boulevard and put in new landscaping and fencing.”
The purchase entity, TT of Naples Inc., mortgaged the property to Wells Fargo Bank NA for $1.84 million.
