The electronics wholesaler's new distribution center is located in Ft. Lauderdale.

TAMPA - Tampa-based wholesale distributor of consumer electronics products, DOW Electronics, opened a new distribution center in Fort Lauderdale, located at 1883 W. State Road 84, Building Two Suite 101.

The new center is one of DOW Electronics' five Southeast U.S. distribution centers. The other centers are in Tampa, Atlanta, Charlotte, N.C., and Memphis, Tenn. The locations were strategically selected to offer next day delivery at regular ground rates to the nine state territories it serves in the Southeast region, the company says in a release.

“DOW Electronics is extremely focused on product line and territory growth, whether that growth comes from organic efforts or strategic acquisition based efforts,” DOW Electronics' CEO, Chip Yodzis, says in a news release. “We recognized the need to refocus our infrastructure on our four existing distribution centers and the opening of our fifth distribution center in Fort Lauderdale in order to continue to provide our customers, the independent consumer electronics retailers, with the largest and best selection of products and services in the industry.”

Tampa-based DOW Electronics is also working on redesigning customer pick up showrooms. The company is independently owned and operated and serves Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
