FORT MYERS — Frontier Airlines plans to offer nonstop service from Southwest Florida International Airport in Fort Myers to Cleveland starting June 13 and Tampa International Airport on June 15.
The airline plans to fly a 168-seat Airbus A320 aircraft on both routes. It will operate between Fort Myers and Cleveland three times a week on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. Frontier also plans to operate between Tampa and Cleveland three times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. The introductory fare is $79 each way from Fort Myers and $69 from Tampa.
The new routes were part of Denver-based Frontier's announcement that it is adding half a dozen nonstop destinations from Cleveland. Besides Tampa and Fort Myers, other new destinations from Cleveland include Atlanta, Fort Lauderdale, Phoenix, Ariz., and Raleigh-Durham, N.C.
