MAS Apartment Corp. buys Countryside Golf Course for development

SELLER: Executive Corp. of Clearwater Inc.
PROPERTY: 2506 Countryside Blvd., Clearwater
PRICE: $4.2 million
LAW FIRM ON DEED: Crouch & Miner PA, Fort Myers

PLANS, DESCRIPTION: An affiliate of Columbus, Ohio-based MAS Apartment Corp. purchased the former Countryside Executive Golf Course for $4.2 million.

The price equated to $94,937 per acre.

George Livingston, Christie Alexander, Paul Vera and Drew Saphos of NAI Realvest represented the buyer. Bruce Erhardt of Cushman & Wakefield of Florida represented the seller, Executive Corp. of Clearwater Inc.

NAI Realvest reports the buyer is starting the process to develop the 44.24-acre property.

The Business Observer was unable to contact MAS Apartment prior to deadline.

According to its website, MAS Apartment has handled more than $236 million worth of apartment projects. Over its history it has owned apartments in Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina and Texas. It currently owns the 140-unit Spanish Lakes in Pasco County and the 156-unit Villas at Sonterra in San Antonio, Texas.
