LARGO — Garb Oil & Power Corp., a Murray, Utah-based waste processing equipment manufacturer, plans to open a new Tampa Bay area location.

In an open letter to shareholders, Tammy Taylor, the company's CEO and president, wrote that this week it would start visiting potential properties for a Tampa Bay Area office/warehouse. The office/warehouse will be used to house the company's corporate staff, store new truck tires and showcase industrial recycling equipment.

Further, the letter says, the company is looking north of the Tampa Bay area to create its first Florida waste-to-energy production plant.

Taylor's letter doesn't indicate a timeline for either new location.

Garb Oil & Power already operates a Largo location at 12350 S. Belcher Road Building 14B, Largo.
