NAPLES — Estate planning attorney Brian McAvoy joined the Roetzel law firm as a partner.

“We are very pleased to have Brian join us here in Naples,” says Paul Heuerman, the partner in charge of Ohio-based Roetzel's Naples office, in a statement. “The firm's wealth transfer and succession-planning group is one of the best in Southwest Florida and we are excited to add Brian's skills and experience to the team.”

McAvoy serves on the board of directors of the David Lawrence Center and as a trustee for The Community Foundation of Collier County. He earned his law degree from the State University of New York, Buffalo Law School, and his bachelor's degree from Hamilton College in Clinton, N.Y. Mr. McAvoy is licensed to practice law in Florida and New York.
