LAKEWOOD RANCH — Neal Communities, coming off a record-setting 2013, sold 67 homes in February.
The sales, according to a release, spanned 16 developments the firm builds in from Manatee to Lee counties. Central Park at Lakewood Ranch, in east Manatee County, was the leader with 13 sales. The Grand Palm in Venice reported 12 sales, while there were 11 at Villa Palmeras in Estero and seven at Verandah in Fort Myers.
“Despite polar vortex weather patterns and cooling consumer confidence nationally, our numbers remain strong and steady,” Sales Director David Hunihan says in the statement. “Our diverse product lineup continues to evolve to meet market demand.”
Neal Communities sold 826 homes in 2013, up 35% from 2012. The firm also recently announced plans to expand to Hillsborough County.
