Infusion Brands hires new chief marketing officer

CLEARWATER— Infusion Brands Inc., a consumer product brand marketing company operating under the public company As Seen On TV Inc., has hired Eydie Webster as its chief marketing officer. Webster joins Infusion Brands from the company's newest addition Ronco Holdings Inc., a popular consumer housewares brand known for its TV pitchman Ron Popeil and the tagline “Set It And Forget It!” Webster spent the last three years as vice president of sales and marketing for Ronco.

Prior to Ronco, Webster spent more than 15 years working with large brands and retailers such as Disney, Mattel, Seiko, Visa, Wal-Mart, and Target. While at Seiko, Webster managed and grew the Wal-Mart account from a single character watch vendor to becoming a Wal-Mart private label vendor and resource, creating the George and No Boundaries watch programs.

She also designed, developed and brought to market her own product, DRINKiD, which continues to be sold at national retail chains.

Under Webster's direction, Ronco's sales have doubled since 2011, and its distribution has expanded beyond direct response to include national brick-and-mortar retailers such as Target, Kohl's, Sears, Kmart, Costco, Sam's Club, and Kitchen Collection, as well as online retailers, catalogs and live shopping channels.

“Her knowledge of the consumer products space and ability to identify market trends will make her a great asset to our company and brands,” Bob DeCecco, chairman and CEO of As Seen On TV and Infusion Brands, says in a press release.
