Bright Oaks Group, a Chicago-based senior living community developer, announced a major expansion into Florida, including forthcoming communities in Naples and Fort Myers.

The company has plans for at least 15 communities in Florida and the Southeast, according to a release. Other planned Florida locations, in addition to Naples and Fort Myers, include Tampa, Sun City and Wildwood in Sumter County.

The Naples community is expected to break ground this summer and open next year, according to the release. The Fort Myers community is expected to break ground in the fall and also be completed by next year. That facility, Bright Oaks of Fort Myers, will feature multiple neighborhoods for both assisted living and memory care residents, the release states.

All the communities are designed with advanced senior living technologies. Other Bright Oaks communities outside Florida are under development in Illinois.

“Our operating philosophy is to understand every resident and create a uniquely personal home for everyone who walks through our doors,” Bright Oaks Group CEO Nader Kameli says in the statement. “Each Bright Oaks community is designed as a customized living space that allows its residents to live together and experience a culture that occurs naturally in a community of people with similar goals and desires, enhanced by the feel of tightly connected neighborhoods.”
