SARASOTA — Steve Young has been named chief operating officer at Doctors Hospital of Sarasota.
Young will oversee day-to-day operations at the 155-bed acute care facility, according to a release. He was most recently associate chief operating officer at Osceola Regional Medical Center, where he oversaw several renovation and expansion projects, in addition to leading nine ancillary departments.
“Steve's experience within HCA and exposure to diverse markets in health care position him well for his new role here,” Doctors Hospital President and CEO Robert Meade says in the release.
