NAPLES — Hodges University named Wendy Gehring its chief information officer and vice president of information technology.
“Wendy has demonstrated over the years her commitment to providing the students, faculty, and staff with the best possible IT support available,” says Jeanette Brock, president of Hodges, in a statement. “Wendy is a team player and has the ability to make important decisions that are in the best interest of the university.”
Hodges also announced leadership at its Naples and Fort Myers campuses. Kim Spiezio was named executive vice president and provost. Carol Morrison has been promoted to senior vice president of student services and Joe Frazier is now the director of the Naples campus.
Dave Rice has been named vice president of facilities and special projects. In addition, he will also assist university advancement with community outreach and fundraising initiatives in support of scholarship initiatives. Rice also assumed the responsibility of director of the Fort Myers campus.
