FORT MYERS — Frontier Airlines has expanded nonstop service from Southwest Florida International Airport to new destinations.

The discount airline plans to begin serving Lambert-St. Louis International Airport with nonstop flights twice a week starting Oct. 3. The airline will operate an Airbus A-319 on that route.

Frontier recently announced nonstop flights to Washington Dulles International Airport will begin Sept. 9, according to the Lee County Port Authority.

Frontier started flying from Fort Myers to Cleveland Hopkins International Airport on June 13 and Wilmington/Philadelphia New Castle Airport flights started Nov. 16.
