FORT MYERS — Scott Fischer Enterprises says it plans to open a motorcycle retail destination near Interstate 75 and Daniels Parkway in October that will include a Harley-Davidson motorcycle store the size of a football field.

The 16.5-acre Six Bends project will also include a test track, a motorcycle-riding academy, a 5,000-person entertainment venue called Top Rocker Field and a fire pit for gatherings.

The second phase of Six Bends is scheduled to open in the summer of 2015 and will include 35,000 square feet of mixed-use commercial space in two additional onsite buildings. The term “six bends” refers to the bends in a motorcycle's handlebar, a part often customized on a motorcycle.

Scott Fischer was the 2014 Business Observer Entrepreneur of the Year for Lee and Collier. You can read a profile of the Fort Myers entrepreneur here.
