PALM HARBOR — Freight and logistic service company FreightCenter passed the one-million-customer mark this week.

“This is a huge milestone for our company and our employees,” says Matthew Brosious, president and CEO of Palm Harbor-based FreightCenter, in a press release. “It is a testament to the product we offer, the service our employees provide and the happiness of our customers.”

The company attributes much of its recent rapid growth to its proprietary technology. That includes specialty software and Web tools for its shipping services, industry experience and customer service.

The milestone comes just as the company nears its move into new offices, scheduled for Oct. 1. The company will move from its 8,900-square-foot offices in Pasco County to about 16,000 square feet in Palm Harbor. The company had about 150 employees in August and expects to have 200 by January.
