TAMPA — Doorstep trash- and recycling-collection services company Valet Waste LLC is moving its corporate headquarters to the Wells Fargo Center in downtown Tampa. The firm, which was represented by Mercedes Angell of Cushman & Wakefield and Abbey Dohring of The Dohring Group, leased 17,194 square feet in the building at 100 S. Ashley Drive.

Valet Waste LLC currently occupies three floors at 601 N. Ashley Drive, Tampa.

“With our leases nearing expiration at our current location, we wanted to increase our efficiency and collaboration by consolidating all of our 40-plus corporate employees onto one floor,” Bill Clarke, the company's chief financial officer, says in a press release.

Valet Waste began its search for a new headquarters location in July and is scheduled to occupy its new space in early December.

A joint venture of Feldman Equities Inc. and Tower Realty Partners purchased the 22-story, 387,477-square-foot Wells Fargo Center in January for $44.8 million. Since then, the group reports it has secured 58,422 square feet in new leases equal to half the vacant space at the time it bought the property. The building is currently 87% leased.
