SARASOTA — The future potential leaders of Take Care Private Duty Home Health Care, one of the largest women-owned health care firms in the region, have taken on expanded management roles.

The executives, sisters Courtney Wise Snyder and Erika Wise Borland, are the daughters of Take Care founder Susanne Wise. Snyder was named executive director of client services, according to a release, while Borland was named director of business development. Snyder will also continue to oversee Take Care Advisor.

“The additional responsibilities ensure the continued growth for Take Care as we move forward and propel the standards for health care in our communities,” Sue Wise says in the release. “They were selected based on their outstanding contributions and commitment to continuing the Take Care culture of business. We have family working in the business, but we run like a business.”

Take Care was founded in 1995 and has four office locations in three Gulf Coast counties. The firm, with more than 500 employees, has about $17 million in annual sales. The Wise family was featured in a Business Observer issue on family businesses in April.
