ST. PETERSBURG — Multimedia retailer HSN and Spanish-language media and entertainment company Univision Communications Inc. have announced a multi-year exclusive partnership. The collaboration will create “Boutique Univision, una tienda de HSN” a retail venture targeted to U.S. Hispanic consumers across HSN and Univision's television, digital and social media channels.
The multiplatform retail offering will feature a variety of HSN products, starting with beauty, home, fashion, culinary, electronics and holiday collections.
HSN host Lesley Ann Machado and Maggie Jimenez from Univision announced the partnership this morning on Univision Network's morning show Despierta America. Univision will also run display ads on digital and mobile and send email blasts to consumers promoting the joint venture.
The website Boutique Univision, una tienda de HSN, which will first launch in beta, will feature products from several well known brands, such as Coca Cola, Lancome, Benefit, OPI, G by Giuliana, Iman, Vince Camuto, HP, Samsung, Apple, Curtis Stone and Wolfgang Puck. Boutique Univision will also feature the “Oferta Del Dia,” a retail item available at a reduced price for a short time every day.
Starting in December, Despierta America will begin showcasing HSN product on a weekly basis. Consumers will be able to purchase products worn or used on the show.
