TAMPA — Spirit Airlines will launch new nonstop seasonal service today between Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport and Tampa International Airport.
The airline is running two flights a day departing from Tampa, one at 3 p.m. and another 7:55 p.m., according to a release.
The expansion was announced along with new nonstop seasonal flights from Minneapolis-St. Paul to Los Angeles (LAX), Orlando (MCO) and Phoenix (PHX). Spirit currently offers direct flights from Tampa International to Atlantic City, Chicago, Dallas/Fort Worth, Detroit and Fort Lauderdale.
Spirit also announced its seasonal nonstop service from Minneapolis-St. Paul to Fort Lauderdale and Fort Myers resumes today.
