SARASOTA — The Gulf Coast Builder's Exchange (GCBX) announced that Jason F. Swift, president of Jon F. Swift Construction, has been inducted as the 2013 chairman of the organization.
Swift has served on GCBX's board of directors since 2003. He was tapped to be chairman in February, at the group's annual dinner, it announced in a release.
Founded in 1952, GCBX's goal is to promote and strengthen relationships between industry trades and represent the development industry in government affairs.
Swift has served as president of Jon F. Swift since 2009. The firm is a prominent commercial contractor in Sarasota and Manatee counties.
