Center for Allied Health & Nursing buys Sabal Park office building

PLANS, DESCRIPTION: A company affiliated with The Center for Allied Health & Nursing Education purchased a 71,256-square-foot office building in Sabal Industrial Park for $3.85 million.

The price equated to $54 per square feet. That figure is lower than the two-year average price per square foot for office space ($115) in the Tampa Bay area, according to the CoStar Group.

Located near Interstate 75, the three-story building was built in 1990 and occupies a 3.95-acre parcel. It features a cafeteria, security guard and shower facilities.

Calls to the nursing school were not returned prior to deadline.

The Center for Allied Health & Nursing Education operates campuses in Tampa, Jacksonville, Fort Lauderdale and two in New Jersey. The local campus is currently at 10126 Windhorst Road, Tampa.

The purchase entity 3625 QP Partners LLC mortgaged the property to Valley National Bank for $5.1 million.
