TAMPA — A national provider of information technology, engineering, and intelligence analytic services to federal agencies involved with defense, intelligence, and homeland security, has opened a Tampa office that will also offer services for private industry.

Salient Federal Solutions Inc., based in Fairfax, Va., offers technology services related to secure satellite communications, systems integration, Internet protocol, and software development.

“Our presence in the Tampa market is in step with our corporate goals as we look to expand into markets where we see opportunities to marry our relevant capabilities to customer needs," says Brad Antle, CEO of Salient.

The company plans an open house March 12 in Tampa to demonstrate its Tactical Coalition Command and Control Terminal (TC3T), a tactical terminal that can be operated by virtually any international military partner. It runs the Voyager Mobility Solution application, a visual display of soldier locations.

Salient plans to sponsor local gatherings of the National Defense Industrial Association on the same day. Stuart Bradin of the U.S. Special Operations Command will be guest speaker at a breakfast at the Centre Club. More information is available here. www.salientfed.com

The new Salient office is located at 5100 W. Lemon St., Suite 114, Tampa.
