Ryland Homes buys 36 lots in South Fork development

SELLER: Southfork East Properties LLC
PROPERTY: South Fork off a portion of Clement Pride Boulevard, Riverview, legally known as lots 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 58, 59, 60, 61, 62, 63, 64, 65, 66, 67, 68, 69, 70, 71, 72, 76, 77, 78, 79, block 8 and lots 29-33, block 9 and lots 14-20, block 11, Southfork, unit 11
PRICE: $1.98 million
LAW FIRM ON DEED: Grey Robinson PA, Tampa

PLANS, DESCRIPTION: Westlake Village, Calif.-based Ryland Homes purchased 36 lots in Phase K of the South Fork community for $1.98 million.

The price equated to $55,000 per lot.

The homebuilder plans to create homes in the community ranging in size from 2,250 to 3,500 square feet of living space with three-car garages. Home prices will start in the mid-$200,000s.

“A big draw for buyers is the south Hillsborough [County] school system,” says Joe Fontana, president of West Florida division for Ryland Homes. “It's a great family environment. It's close to the interstate with a lot of things to appeal to a growing family. “
