PLANS, DESCRIPTION: Lakewood Ranch-based homebuilder Neal Communities Inc. purchased the final 45 lots in the Oasis Key community for $2.25 million.
The price equated to $50,000 per lot.
The homebuilder purchased the first 31-lot portion of the 76-lot community in late March for $1.24 million. The community was entitled but, except for its roads, was largely undeveloped.
Neal Communities plans to continue developing the community with the goal of launching home sales in September. It is renaming the gated development Coastal Key. The homebuilder will develop two model homes with 1,772 and 2,850 square feet of living space and garages.
Located at the end of Winkler Extension, homes will feature views of the community's water features or Estero Aquatic Preserve.
