James Bates, a Coldwell Banker agent, negotiated the sale of a home at 425 Gulf Shore Blvd. N. for $13.5 million on Dec. 26. Bates also handled the sale of Casita de la Playa in November for $16 million. That home consisted of two parcels at 17 Seventh Ave. S. and 670 Gulf Shore Blvd. S. and was the highest price paid for a home in that area since 1999.
“This sale further confirms the strength of the Olde Naples luxury beachfront market,” says Bates, in a statement. “With only a handful of Gulf front homes on the market, unique estates like 425 Gulf Shore Blvd. N. are rarely available and affluent buyers see them and Naples as a sound investment as the market continues to strengthen.”
Buyers and sellers were not disclosed. However, both homes are located on beachfront property along the Gulf of Mexico.
