SARASOTA — Tropical Landscape Solutions, a landscape design, construction and maintenance firm, has expanded north of Sarasota-Bradenton.

The Sarasota-based firm, according to a release, will now serve commercial clients in Hillsborough, Pinellas and Polk counties. In those areas the company will specifically target new clients in Brandon, Clearwater, Lakeland and Tampa.

Tropical Landscape President Fred Calagiovanni says the expansion has already netted some new projects. That includes contracts for maintenance work at seven Longhorn Steakhouse locations; three additional Sports Authority stores; three additional Toys “R” Us stores; and the Macy's at the WestShore Plaza mall, the release states.

Founded in 1993, the firm does both commercial and residential landscape work. Clients include local Home Depot stores, Publix, and Ritz-Carlton hotel properties. It's also worked on landscape projects at waterfront estates in the Sarasota-Manatee area.
