NAPLES — Premier Sotheby's International Realty is expanding to Tampa and will open an office there in March.
Premier's Tampa office, to be located at 202 S. Moody Ave. in South Tampa, will be the firm's 19th location. The firm has 450 agents who now cover the region from Tampa to Marco Island. Real estate veteran Kurt Gleeson will be the managing broker of the Tampa office.
“Our expansion into the Tampa market represents the ongoing evolution of Premier Sotheby's International Realty. The timing is ripe as the luxury market is flourishing, with sales of homes over $1 million enjoying a 40% increase in 2012, year-over-year,” says Judy Green, Premier's president and CEO, in a statement.
Premier is an affiliate of Sotheby's network, which has 12,582 agents located in 614 offices in 47 countries.
