Leoma Lovegrove, one of the best-known artists in Southwest Florida, will now have her art on shirts available at Beall's department stores.
Lovegrove, whose studio is located in the arts community of Matlacha (pronounced matt-luh-shay), is known for her paintings of sea life, birds and Florida landscapes in tropical bursts of colors.
The colorful T-shirts are available in the company's stores and online (the recent price online at beallsflorida.com was $25) and feature fish, parrots, flamingos and landscapes.
Based in Bradenton, privately held Bealls operates 540 stores in 17 states.
