UNIVERSITY PARK — First Watch, the fast-growing breakfast-brunch-lunch chain, plans to open a new location in the Cincinnati region in the summer.

The 3,500-square-foot store, the chain's eighth in the region, will be a part of an expansion at the Northgate Mall, according to a release. The location will have about 25 employees, and includes some of the newer interior design elements First Watch has incorporated into its stores. A TGI Friday's and Potbelly's are also part of the mall extension, the release states.

“First Watch has been serving great breakfast, brunch and lunch to Cincinnatians since we opened our first restaurant here in 1991,” First Watch Chief Marketing Officer Chris Tomasso says in a release. “We look forward to expanding our presence in this market.”

First Watch has more than 110 locations in 15 states.
