FORT MYERS — Junior Achievement of Southwest Florida announced jeweler Mark Loren and pastry chef Norman Love will be inducted into the Business Hall of Fame for Lee County.

The induction ceremony will take place April 17 at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort & Spa in Bonita Springs.

Jewelry designer Mark Loren started his career repairing watches for Bulova, but became an entrepreneur after moving to Florida in 1982. Loren has won numerous awards, including four International Spectrum Design awards, the Oscars of the jewelry design industry.

Love began his career as a pastry chef for luxury resorts such as the Beverly Hills Hotel and the Ritz-Carlton. At the Ritz-Carlton, Love rose through the ranks to oversee the chain's global pastry operations. He left the corporate world and started Norman Love Confections in 2001 in Fort Myers, earning international recognition for his chocolate and pastry creations.

Junior Achievement provides school students with financial literacy and entrepreneurial skills. The organization hosts the Business Hall of Fame annually in both Lee and Collier counties.
